Form Auto Filler Help
Import information from CSV files
Now you can easily import your information to Form Auto Filler from Excel, Word or other programs that allow you to save data in CSV format.
Just save your information to a file in CSV format and then import it to Form Auto Filler.
To import information from a CSV file:
Double-click the Form Auto Filler desktop icon.
Select 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'Forms list'.

Click the 'Import' button.
From the 'Files of type' drop-down list select if you want to import *.txt files or *.csv files and select the file you want to import.

Select the fields you want to import. You can use '+' and '-' buttons to select and deselect fields
Form name
By default, the name of each Form is built from the name in the 'Form name' field and corresponding Form's number. Note: Form's name may be easily changed later.
Title information
- Form title
If you want all Forms have the same title, put the radio button for the 'Form title' option and enter Title information.
- Get Form title from field
Or you can select the 'Get Form title from field' option and using the drop-down list select which field of the imported file you want to use to get information for 'Form Title'.
Information about Form url
- Form url
If you want all Forms have the same url, put the radio button for the 'Form url' option and enter Url information.
- Get Form url from field
Or you can select the 'Get Form url from field' option and using the drop-down list select from which field of the imported file you want use to get Url information.
Select 'fill form action' and 'form fields linking' rules.
5. Click 'OK'.
Import information from CSV files with pre-defined fields' types
Now, you can easily import your information form *.csv and *.txt files with predefined fields' types. |
Note:
1. The first string in a csv file with pre-defined fields' types should have the following format:
field1_name==field1_type, field2_name==field2_type,...
2. If no field type is defined or there is no appropriate type, Form Auto Filler will use 'text'.
3. The list of supported field's types is the same as you can select in the program manually: text, password, checkbox, hidden, radio, select, textarea and submit.

To import information from CSV or TXT files with pre-defined fields' types:

Form Filler FAQ What do I do to fill a form (fill online form) using Form Auto Filler?
To fill web forms using Form Auto Filler (free web form filler): Open a web page with the web form you want to fill. To fill a web form, press Alt + F Using "Fill only empty fields" option you can configure Form Auto Filler to insert information only in empty web form fields. - If there is only one Form that matches a web page/url, Form AutoFiller will fill a web form. - If you have more than one Form that match a web page/url, you will see the list of Forms that match this url. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Filler will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form. - If there are no Forms that match a web page/url, you will see the list of all Forms. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Filler will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form.
